HEALTHYouth: Empowering Youth to Cook. Grow. Thrive.

  • About

Farm to Neighborhood aims to build a truly sustainable culture of healthy eating habits in Athens that will last for generations. Instilling lifelong knowledge of healthy foods and cuisine and establishing healthy habits begins with engaging young people. Farm To Neighborhood is building upon its demonstrated successes in increasing access to fresh food by developing a HEALTHYouth Resource Center with a hands-on culinary and entrepreneurship learning environment. We will offer a nine-week hands-on HEALTHYouth program. We own the site and facility for theHEALTHYouth Resource Center and are engaged in fund-raising efforts, confident that our many partners will be eager to support the Center.
